About Andrew
Andrew is an innovation management professional with over 20 years of experience of successfully implementing systems, technologies, governance frameworks, and working practices, primarily in legal services. He has designed, developed, implemented, integrated, and automated management systems, IP intelligence, governance and reporting frameworks at both strategic and operational levels.
Andrew has an MBA from Henley Business School, during which he researched the effects of patents on the innovation process in the early 2000s when innovation management was emerging as a professional discipline. He has held various senior management roles and is the convenor for Working Group 1, ISO Technical Committee 279 Innovation Management, which is responsible for the Innovation Management System (IMS).
Andrew has been convenor for the group from the public enquiry stage to the publication of ISO56001, the first international requirements standard for the innovation management system. As convenor, he has successfully brought together experts from seemingly disparate perspectives on the topic to address and resolve at times conflicting comments on this new and ground-breaking standard in the discipline of innovation management.
